TITLE: Iowa 922, Iowa County

DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

Transfer of jurisdiction agreement number TJ-149-2 (49)-48 between the Iowa Department of Transportation, the City of North English and Iowa County, transferred Iowa 922 to local jurisdiction on May 6, 1988 and should be removed from the Primary Road System.

Iowa 922 begins on Main Street at junction with unnamed street in North English and heads north and northeast to north corporation line and then northeasterly to the junction of relocated Iowa 149.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended that Iowa 922 in Iowa County be deleted from the Primary Road System.

Old Description: - Iowa 922 and its extension in Iowa County described as follows:

North English

Beginning on Main Street at the junction with unnamed street; then north on Main Street to the north corporation line of North English.

Beginning again on the north corporation line of North English, connecting with Main Street; then northeasterly through Section 36-T78N-R11W to a point near the NE Corner Section 36-T78N-R11W.
